The aim of the project is to develop an integrated biological/electrochemical process for the production of organic zinc and copper salts for the agricultural and animal feed sectors. Raw materials are waste from the agri-food sector and the melting of non-ferrous metals. The operative conditions of the production pprocess have been developed through the reaction between an organic acid and a zinc and/or inorganic copper salt. The technical-economic feasibility has also been assessed, reaching positive results, from which to optimize yields.
