Production process

ECO-ZINDER’s production process is designed to recover and valorise residues containing non-ferrous metals through a series of highly specialised plant sections.

Our technologies enable the effective separation of the different metal fractions contained in residues, transforming them into safe and controlled raw materials. We manage the entire operational cycle in-house, maintaining full control over every stage:

  • from the planning and selection of incoming materials,
  • to the monitoring of processing activities,
  • through to the characterisation of the final product.

The entire process is carried out in full compliance with environmental and safety regulations, with rigorous controls on materials, plants and operations.

1

Material selection and preparation

Raw materials are stored in a dedicated area, where the first phases of the process begin: analysis, inspection, selection, separation and recovery of non‑ferrous metals.
Thanks to our plant capacity, we process over 100 tonnes of materials per day.

The leaching process represents the key separation phase: through targeted chemical treatment, non-ferrous metals are dissolved and separated from unwanted components. This step makes it possible to obtain a solution rich in purified metals, forming the basis for subsequent processing stages.

2

Purification and precipitation

The metal solution obtained from leaching is transferred to the purification unit, where impurities and unwanted metals such as nickel, iron, manganese, cadmium and other elements that would compromise final product quality are removed.

Depending on customer specifications, the next stage involves chemical precipitation, through which products such as zinc sulphate and the various carbonates and concentrates are formed.

3

Packaging department

From the silos, sulphates and concentrates are transferred to the packaging department, where they are packed according to customer specifications and the requirements of different industrial sectors.

Once packed, products are labelled, tracked and stored in the dedicated warehouse, ready for shipment.
